Dedicates Her Victory to the Memory of Her Sister Danthia
Aquilia Elizabeth Daniels Gómez de Whittaker, originally from Little Corn Island and a resident of the Cayman Islands, has won the “Muscle Mayhem 2024” contest for the second year in a row, the premier natural bodybuilding and fitness competition in the Cayman Islands.
At 30 years old and a mother of two, Aquilia dedicated this victory to the memory of her sister, Danthia Daniels Gómez, who passed away three months ago.
After the painful loss of her sister, Aquilia considered leaving her bodybuilding career due to her grief. However, she found the strength to return to her training and, with determination, once again claimed first place in this prestigious contest, turning her triumph into a tribute to her sister.
“Muscle Mayhem” brings together the top natural bodybuilding and fitness competitors in the region, and Aquilia has proudly represented her community, becoming a symbol of resilience and perseverance.
This new achievement not only highlights her discipline in the sport but also her ability to transform her pain into motivation, bringing her family and community together around her victory.
Congratulations to Aquilia for this well-deserved recognition and for proudly representing Little Corn Island on the international stage.
